About the restaurant

Unique environment on the quayside

The restaurant is furnished in an old wharf from 1954, which was once a fish reception. Great emphasis has been placed on preserving the original character, which in gives a very special atmosphere where history sits close to the walls. While you enjoy an aperitif, you can dream away in the history of a bygone era where the boats came chugging into the strait, and the quayside served as a social meeting point when the fish were hauled ashore. Witnessing the arrival of the day's catch was for some one of the small highlights of the day. -A time of hard work, wind in the hair and a straight back.

Today, both meat and fish dishes are served here, but the main focus is on short-traveled, fresh produce from our own pantry, namely the Helgeland coast. The menu changes with the seasons and the availability of raw materials. In addition, you will always find fresh, home-baked cakes from our own small bakery.

Last, but not least, we are proud to offer a traditional product called red pollock
(old salted pollock), which was originally preserved by fermentation. The specialty has its connection to the northern Norwegian coast, specifically Helgeland and Salten.

he restaurant also has a popular playroom for children, and our premises are suitable for parties.

The local fish reception, Seløy Fisk AS is just a few minutes' walk from the restaurant. This makes us very privileged in terms of access to fresh fish and shellfish, and the chef can thus select the finest ingredients to give you the best meal.

Whether you visit us in your own company, on a date with your chosen one, with good friends or with work, we guarantee to do our very best to ensure that you have a pleasant stay.
